Our Mission Statement “Winning Souls to Christ and making them winners in life” is summed up by our desire to reach the community for Christ, as well as empower the congregation to find purpose in every area of their lives. Through serving and volunteering in the church, and living a Christ like life at work, home and in their communities they will be Winners in Christ!
At Grace Walk Community Church, the first part of our mission statement is “winning souls.” Everything we do is with the consideration of how we affect the community, visitors to the church and even members. We want to influence people toward Christ by our Christ-likeness and our friendliness.
The next part “making winners in life” is done through personal relationships, various ministries and teachings. At Grace Walk we want to minister to the spiritual, physical, mental and emotional needs of people. We believe in doing this by teaching and training in the various areas of life such as finances, business, leadership, biblical truths, and other areas which influence your life and lead you on a successful journey.
We at Grace Walk don’t want to be just another church, but we desire to be a “seeker-sensitive” church in our approach to the community. This can be seen in the way that we do virtually everything. Our short service, music style, casual dress and teaching approach are all part of providing a non-threatening setting for people to consider God, Jesus and the Bible.
Our greatest desire is to reach the large majority of people in the West Valley who do not know God.
We at Grace Walk realize the interactive needs of the congregation must be met. We want to be known as a friendly large church. Because of this interactive need in the church, we have available many ministries in which you can consider becoming a part of.
