"Serving not starring," sums up the Media Ministry here at Grace Walk; which consists of a truly dynamic team of dedicated individuals that constantly strives for excellence in lighting, overhead and audio.
Overhead/Recording Ministry
The overhead and recording ministry works behind the scenes, running the overhead for worship, creating
announcements and displaying and recording the message.
Lighting
Have you ever noticed how lighting can influence an atmosphere? Lighting plays a very important role in setting a mood for any given moment. From running lights for main services, to plays, lighting gives tremendous effect
to the service.
Audio
The sound operator (also commonly called production audio engineer, audio engineer, sound board operator,
sound technician, sound mixer or A1) is the person responsible for the overall and total execution of the sound design during the service. This job includes operating a mixing console and sound reinforcement system, as well as co-ordinating sound effects and mixing microphones. Without the sound ministry, there would be no service, thus it’s operators serve a very important function.
